This is another mystery-fantasy, suspense and thriller film
of mutual written and directed by Perry Reginald Teo with writer Josh Nadler.
Ethan Gregory Peck as Thomas Kaiser is the lead star of the movie with the
pretty India Eisley as Briar Rose.
The movie is a dim vision of classic movies and an entirely
new from the Brothers Grimm escapades. Thomas Kaiser here was left to take over
an ancestral house that has been in their clan for generations, and only to find
out that he has also the hereditary of a very old curse stalking back to the battle.
He was obliged with his present role as the protector, the guardian chosen to maintain
the evil spirit in the dwelling place at bay. Thomas must unfasten the secret
of the house, while fighting back to awaken the adorable Briar Rose, held in
prison in a horrifying netherworld seen earlier in his dreams.
The film started well good. The initial plot was quite a
surprised and a bit mysterious with a touch of fantasy. The ambiance is early
set, personalities are introduced, and all of them performed a pretty
convincing and good job. Although there were irregular cliché, but the acting
was great and it was really enjoyable in the beginning. Then, halfway into the movie, they just toss everything away, the troubles of the major character are
exposed about one third in the film, and then the resolution begins. The plot
just gets strange in the last quarter and it seemed like even the director was
in a hurry to wrap up everything. It just seems imperfect, leaving you with too
many questions with a poker face of wondering what really happened and where
are those half of the initiated mysteries of the film that were not explained.
